Caring for Your Yarn

To make sure your yarn and crafted goods last as long as possible, I recommend always hand-washing in cool or room temperature water with gentle wool wash (I use Soak brand). Soak until saturated, then gently press out excess water and lay out to air dry.

Especially for very saturated colors (I find vivid pinks to be the worst offenders), it’s normal for a small amount of dye to tint your blocking water. If this happens, submerge in a sink of cool water; repeat with fresh water until water runs clear.
